Adjustments on Telecom Budgets for 2009 Recession Survey is now available to purchase
Beginning with October 2008, the economic situation in Romania has been affected by the worldwide financial crisis. Given the circumstances, many companies have adapted their business strategies in order to respond to recession.
In April 2009, Mercury Research launched a new study: Adjustments on Telecom Budgets for 2009 Recession. The study is focused on telecommunication services usage and aims to investigate how companies will react to the financial crisis and what strategies they will adopt in the following period.
Objectives of the survey
• Estimated evolution of telecom market in terms of value
• Strategies for cutting/increasing telecom costs
• Expected changes in number of employees / turnover in 2009
• Cost saving measures taken in 2009
Respondents profile (target): the decision maker in the company for acquisition and usage of telecommunication services
Data collection methodology (combined methodology): Online interviews and CATI (Computer Assisted Telephone Interviews )
Data collection period: 7 - 23 April 2009
