Healthy Eating Global Report 2019
The results of the study conducted by Mercury Research in July 2019 in association with Global Market Research, a study conducted in 16 other countries, show that for two thirds of Romanians the answer is affirmative.
The reason why they chose to eat healthy, improving their diet in the last 6 months since the completion of the study, is based on the prevention of medical problems as well as obtaining a good state of health.
How did they succeed?
By introducing more fruits and vegetables, reducing the consumption of sugar and processed food, emphasizing home cooked food, a trend similar to that of many Europeans. On the other hand, inhabitants of North America are largely interested in consumption of low-sodium food and whole grains.
