  • The most important reason mentioned by 57% of the Internet non-users is the lack of a need for such services
  • Important reasons mentioned for not using the fixed Internet are the price perceived as too expensive, the lack of devices (laptop, desktop) to access it, and the switching to mobile Internet   
  • The probability to subscribe to fixed Internet is low, both for fixed Internet non-users as well as for non-users of any type of Internet, scoring 2 out of 10, where 1 = Not at all likely and 10 = Very likely
  • For the people living in places where there are no fixed Internet providers, the likelihood to subscribe to such service is slightly higher (4.9 points out of 10), with one third declaring as very likely to subscribe if such service available in their residential area (maximum score)
  • Compared to Internet users, non-users are older, live in small households (1-2 persons), have lower income and are less educated
